2019 Cycling Around Taiwan
On May 13, 2019, students set off from Linkou for a twelve-day dream-building journey.
They traveled all the way to Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung via the Beiyi Highway. In the south, they held their coming-of-age ceremony at the Kaohsiung Confucius Temple, and then returned to the Linkou campus. During this 12-day journey of nearly 820 kilometers, the students cycled around these sites. This is not only good for their health, but also a great way to show their care for Taiwan. Using both feet and hands to reach to the destination set by themselves and to serve society, students will be more grateful, brave to accept challenges, and find their own value in this coming-of-age celebration.
